Mrs. Wilda Guthrie

JEWETT - Mrs. Wilda Salmon Guthrie, 89, of Jewett died at 7:50 a.m. Thursday in Cambridge State Hospital where she had been a patient for 3 years. She was born Feb 4, 1883 near Germano, the daughter of Albert and Margaret Hawk Salmon. Her husband George Guthrie died in May 1962. Mrs. Guthrie was a member of the United Methodist Church. Surviving are a sister Mrs. Isaac (Delma) Heavilin of Cadiz Route 5, and a niece Pauline Hilbert of Cadiz Route 5. Services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at Telfer Funeral Home in Jewett. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery Carrollton. Friends may call at the funeral home 7 to 9 pm. Today.
