MRS RUTH TELFER, JEWETT

Mrs. Ruth Marie Telfer, 54, of Jewett, died of a stroke at 10pm Saturday. Mrs. Telfer was born Feb 10, 1912 in German Twp, Harrison County, daughter of the late Doss D. Condo and Estella Lewton Condo. She was a member of the Jewett Methodist church, its Mary Martha Sunday School class and WSCS. Mrs. Telfer taught the primary class at the Sunday school for several years. Surviving are her husband, George I Telfer; a son, Captain Gary Telfer of Ft Sill, Oklahoma; 3 sisters; Mrs. Irene Parsons, of Bergholz, Mrs. Gladys Long and Mrs. Bertha Stahl, both of Jewett; and a brother, Frank Condo of Brewster. Services will be held Tuesday at Telfer Funeral Home in Jewett, with Rev. James Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at Jewett.
